The most popular residential areas in Gambia are Brufut, Bijilo, Kerrsering, Sanyang, Gunjour, Batokunku, Kololi, Kotu, Fajara and Cape point.

Bakau/Cape point

Home to the national Botanical gardens, situated right on the point of the Gambia River.

You can also find the Mrc Hospital, British High Commission, French, Iranian and Islamic embassy’s here. There is also a main fishing area to the left of Banjul as well as the Gambian Army Barracks

Fajara

Adjoining this is the beginning of Karaiba Avenue, shopping paradise for everything from a sweeping brush to a 60inch HD TV. Karaiba Avenue runs through the main highway to Banjul approximately 2 miles long, the heart of everyday life.

Banjul

Kotu

Kololi
