The Sunshine bar and Restaurant is located 500 meters along the beach from the Cape Point Hotel. This is a very friendly local restaurant where tourists are warmly welcomed. The food is excellent. All dishes are freshly prepared and beautifully presented and cost a fraction of what you would pay in the hotels. In the evenings they often have local drummers providing the entertainment.

The Yasmina restaurant is an excellent place to stop for lunch or dinner if you are in Senegambia. A Yasmina prawn sandwich made with freshly caught prawns washed down with a cold 'Julbrew' lager while sitting in the shade of a palm tree can only be described as "heaven"
